- Department of Development
The Department of Development provides unique and award-winning programs to help local citizens and businesses. With some of the most creative programs in community development, economic development and housing the department has responded to a mandate to innovate from Cuyahoga County.
- Planning Commission
The laws of the State of Ohio vest the County Planning Commission with the duty and the power to study, plan, and recommend regional goals and objectives. As a basis for realizing these goals and objectives, the county's needs, priorities, and policies are to be studied and recommendations made. The CPC is empowered to promote administrative and regulatory measures to implement the plans of the region. It may engage in collections and analysis of social and economic data and coordinate research with other governmental agencies, educational institutions, and private organizations.
- Procurement & Diversity
The Cuyahoga County Office of Procurement & Diversity (OPD) is responsible for the procurement of equipment, materials, supplies, construction and services for all of the County departments, agencies, and elected officials in a manner which is cost effective and in compliance with the laws of the State of Ohio and the policies of Cuyahoga County. OPD implements formal and informal bidding procedures for items covered by competitive bidding policies and laws.
Permits & Licenses
- Auto Titles
The Fiscal Office Auto Title Division processes titles for motor vehicles, including automobiles, motorcycles, ATV's and limited off road vehicles, mobile homes, travel trailers, campers, motor homes, watercraft, and boat motors. It also issues replacement titles, and duplicate titles for original titles that have been lost or stolen.
- Cigarette Dealers' Licenses
Ohio law requires any person engaging in the wholesale or retail business of trafficking in cigarettes within the state obtain a license. Any person who employs the use of a motor vehicle to convey a supply of cigarettes from place to place or for the purpose of offering such cigarettes for sale must obtain a license for each vehicle in each county in which any vehicle is used.
- Dog Licenses
Ohio law requires every dog owner to renew their license between December 1st and January 31st of each year. No matter what your dog likes to do make sure it has a license to do it.
- Vendor Licenses
Regular Vendor's Licenses are issued by the County Fiscal Officer to vendors with a fixed place of business in Ohio. Vendors must have one regular vendor's license for each sites location.
