External Affairs is responsible for handling all communications on behalf of the agency, including answering media inquiries, distributing public health information, and handling community outreach efforts.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office Citizens Academy is a once-a-week, 10-week program designed to give Cuyahoga County residents an inside look at what goes into death investigations. Click here for more information on the Citizens Academy.


Internships:

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office is an accredited teaching facility (ACGME accredited) and thus providing educational learning experiences is a focus. Click here for more information on Internships.


Student Resource Guide:

The guide contains articles written by today’s forensic scientists for tomorrow’s forensic scientists. Readers will get a glimpse into the daily life of the many forensic disciplines such as pathology, toxicology, trace evidence, drug chemistry, and more!
