All Cuyahoga County Sheriff Foreclosure Sales are held online only.
The Civil Administrative Unit will accept payments from 8:00am through 3:30pm, closed weekends and local holidays.
The only acceptable forms of payment are:
- Certified bank check or Cashier check ***NO CREDIT UNION CHECKS***
- Money Order - not to exceed a total of $10,000
- Plaintiff's law firm check

Judgment Creditor's council must request a Sheriff Sale Cancel / Postpone form by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com (requests must come from the law firm's email address). This will be the only acceptable form to cancel or postpone a sale in Cuyahoga County pertaining to ORC 2329.153.
