How to Participate
Participating through Automatic Deductions:
Monthly - Your tax bill is divided in half and 1/6 of your bill will be withdrawn from your account around the 5th of each month. Each January and July, the adjusted balance due for the collection period will be withdrawn on the last
day of the collection.
Twice a year - Withdrawals will occur twice a year on the last day of each collection period in January and July. You may also elect to have your first half payment made on the last business day of December.
Once a year - Your full year tax amount will be withdrawn from your account on the last business day of December or on the last day of the collection in January. You will still receive a bill in June and December informing you of
the final amount due.
Participating through Pre-payment Coupons:
Upon enrollment, you may choose to receive monthly payment coupons that state the amount due, the due dates, the parcel number and the property address. You will receive a return envelope addressed to Cuyahoga
County Treasurer. Personal checks, cashier's checks and money orders are accepted.
